Located in Moncton, the Coordinator, Inventory & Preventative Maintenance is responsible for the management, and oversight of all inventory and the preventative maintenance program for EM/ANB. This includes inventory and equipment at head office and at all EMP Units and ANB Stations across NB. This role works in collaboration with various departments on projects as well as controls the medical supply and equipment inventory.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • the preventative maintenance program for all medical equipment in accordance with Accreditation Canada guidelines;
  • ordering ANB Medical Mart supplies as well as ordering and inventory process oversight for pharmaceuticals;
  • management of the inventory warehouse at head office;
  • oversight of all logistics, shipping and receiving for EM/ANB;
  • taking part in new equipment proposal process and procuring/recording/shipping and receiving of all new equipment as it is being put into service;

leading proposal efforts including completing project scoping for anything inventory and logistics related;

holding regular status meetings with project/operations/inventory teams;

  • ensuring training on inventory process and system is provided when needed;

determining appropriate inventory reconciliation, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and monitoring receivables;

  • controlling all backordered supplies, and any allocated or recalled Medical/pharmaceutical supplies;
  • Super User for the McKesson system and Medical Mart system which involves building users, building or changing ordering templates and operational support;
  • Liaise with MHS, suppliers and the Department of Health.

As the ideal candidate for this role, you:

  • possess a post-Secondary education, preferably in the Supply Chain Management field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience;
  • have a minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an EMS system or healthcare sector;
  • have proven experience and understanding of Medical and Pharmaceutical Equipment;

have proven experience in strategic planning and change management;

understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully;

general to intermediate understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design;

have a thorough understanding of Emergency Medical Services and Medical Transportation methodology;

  • possess an ability to research, navigate and monitor applicable legislation, and other governing documents;
  • strong analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities;
  • ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • · knowledge of statistics, data collection and analysis;

bilingualism would be a considered an asset.
