As the management company for Ambulance New Brunswick and the Extra-Mural Program, we’re looking for a Coordinator, Clinical Quality to help support our growing operation which provides exemplary, highly coordinated primary health care in the right place, from the right provider, at the right time.

Reporting to the Manager, Training and Quality Assurance, your primary responsibility will be the analysis, reporting, and maintenance of information within a clinical Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program. The CQI program incorporates all aspects of clinical quality assurance including clinical performance management, clinical data analysis and research programs.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • measuring achievements and performance activity;
  • identifying problems and issues pertaining to clinical quality and devising action plans to improve performance;
  • establishing and communicating a general awareness of CQI principles and practices;
  • generating provincial performance indicator reports;
  • preparing documents for meetings or presentations
  • organizing and participating in meetings as required
  • consulting with the education department for training issues that develop from assessing quality processes and research initiatives;
  • assessing proposed research studies and coordinating operational logistics for approved research projects;
  • developing and/or assisting with policies relevant to the operations.

As an ideal candidate, you:

  • possess a post-secondary education in a health care discipline with previous demonstrated CQI program experience;
  • have three or more years of field experience, at the Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) level, with 2 – 3 years in a leadership role;
  • have a broad knowledge of CQI tools and a clear understanding of CQI concepts;
  • possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills;
  • are well organized with a high level of attention to detail;
  • have demonstrated leadership abilities with a proven track record for inspiring and motivating others;
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset.

Travel may be required.
